Painting Project

We have been cleaning out the shed in our backyard and planning on tearing it down. But with the kids in town I thought it might be fun to let them paint it. I used some spare white paint to freshen it up for fun painting. This was the result.....

William Thacker's Door

Griffis' Door

I painted both Mom's and my door BLUE. I love it, even though a lot of people have nicely said 'wow that's really blue'. After I finished it reminded me of Hugh Grant's house in Notting Hill. Anyway, I love love love my new door!

Shan- Shanny- Shannon- Sha- Shannyo

No matter what you call her she's awesome, I know several people that agree. I've know Shan now for about fourteen years, enough time to know she's the best friend you can have. I decided to pay a little blog tribute to her.

She is so sweet, funny and very talented. I look up to her more then she knows! She's brave and artistic, which is shown by her successful business (Juniper and Co.). Also she is by far one of the smartest and funniest people I have ever met. I could spend hours just listening to her witty jokes and hilarious honk. Anyone that get the chance to have her in their life is truly bless. Love you Shannyo

Ben and Betsy

I love these two so much, they are the sweetest guys ever! Colby and I were lucky enough to go visit for Easter and the following week. I also go the pleasure to stay an extra week and tend their three sweet kids while they went to Mexico. I say pleasure because that's what it truly was. I love those kids so much and we had a great time! Just to name a few things we did....... basketball, making the cherry trees snow, Phineas and Ferb, ice cream man, Build-a-lot, The OG, swimming in the tub, Five and Below, and snacks. I had such a blast in Virginia! I've been so lucky and grateful to be able to spend so much time with my nieces and nephew, not to mention it's the best compliment that Ben and Betsy trust me with their most special guys! Love all you guys

One year down already

It's official we have been married a year! We celebrated by going to get massages at UCMT, it felt awesome!!!!!! We also exchanged gifts, I like the idea of getting gifts according to the traditional anniversary gift list, first anniversary being paper. So I made a scrap book for Colby of all the picture of him as a baby until now that I could round up. Colby secretly and sweetly listened as I mentioned months ago that Van Gogh was my favorite artist and I always wanted a big Starry Night picture. Along with a little help from Mom, he found a huge poster of it and had it framed. I love it!!!!! Also today we went with Mom and Katie and had our anniversary dinner at TGIFriday's, one of our favorites. We had a great time and can't wait for year number two!

The Stache

Colby usually goes with the clean shaven, baby face look or a little scruff. Although while we were chatting the other day I said there was no way he could stand to keep his facial hair, especially grow a mustache in three weeks. So Colby confident he could and I being the betting gal that I am, it started. If I won, a chocolate ice cream cone from Arctic Circle anytime I request and if Colby won a number one from Wienerschnitzel anytime he wanted. As of yesterday it had been three weeks, so he shaved everything but the stache. I guess Colby is the official winner and I have a hot dog run sometime in the near future but it was worth the jokes I got to make all Saturday until he shaved it this afternoon.
Pretty silly but I still think he's quite handsome!

To Sarah, Love Rogue

Miss you Sar-Bear! Can't wait to see you this summer. I'm taking really good care of Poley Poley.
