Wedding Stuff.........

As we try to get ready for our wedding, our living room has turned into a storage/craft room (which I know Katie is probably hating but is sweet to put up with). Surprisingly enough we are getting really close to being done and ready for the wedding. I just can't wait until it's at least March and I can do the last few things.

Tyler's Birthday and Mommers in town

We celebrated Tyler's 23rd Birthday with cake, ice cream and games. Also we were lucky to get to have mom in town again. She was here for about a week, which went by way too fast. We did a lot of shopping for the wedding and she was able to visit all her sweet friends while she was here. Can't wait for her to come back in March!

New Years Eve

We had an impromptu New Years Party with a pretty good turn out (Katie, Betsy, Michael, Emma, Sarah, Shannon, Val, Mark, Dontch, Fernando, Jessica, Andrew, Becca, Colby and I). We had all kinds of appetisers and sparkling apple juice. Michael unfortunately got sick from all the treats and went to bed early but got up in time to see the ball drop. Emma almost made it and when we tried to wake her she refused but got a picture of her sleeping at the party. We played 'The Great Delmuti', Wii Fit and Brain Academy. We all had a great time!!!

Wii Fit and Easy Bake

For Christmas Ben and Betsy got Wii Fit. It was definitely one of the best presents, along with Brain Academy and the Easy-bake Oven that was a hit! We spent a lot of time sitting around playing various Wii games, that are just as fun to watch as they are to play.

Best Birthday Ever

While Betsy and the kids were still here I had my 25th Birthday. It was super fun! The girls made mini cupcakes for my cake. We went sledding, played games and just hung out, definitely my version of the funnest day ever. I just wish they were here to do it everyday with us! Love and miss you guys!

Sledding

While the Van Tassell's we here, sledding was a must! The kids absolutely loved it, maybe even as much as Ben and Colby. They were just bigger versions, trying silly tricks like standing up on their sleds. Everyone had lots of fun in their own ways. Betsy, Gene and I ran up and down picking up kids and the kids just couldn't wait to ride back down screaming like crazy. Afterwords we made it safely home and got in a warm tub and ate Michael and Em's favorite treat 'snow sugar'.

Friend P-A-R-T-Y, cause we gots too

We had our annual friend party on the 26th of December. Starting with dinner at our favorite, Cafe Rio, we ate and visited. Most of the usuals made it; Adam, Randy, Audrey, Shannon, Colby and I. After dinner Audrey had to run to work but the rest of us headed to my house for a regular night of fun and Randy's awesome new games. I love that we can not see each other for almost a year and when we all get back together it's like we don't skip a beat. Randy's awesome stories, Adam insisting he can do anything (hula hoop for an hour), Shan's honk and wheeze, my stubbornness to not be a peon no matter the game and Colby just jumping right in and instantly fitting into our friend mix.

Bowling

We were lucky enough for Krista to come into town for Thanksgiving. It was a total blast from the past, we had tons of fun hanging out, playing games, visiting and eating. Most of us still felt young enough we pulled ourselves off the couch and went midnight bowling.
