Las Vegas October 2011

We were able to get away for the weekend with some of Colby's friends to Las Vegas. We gambled a little, walked around a ton and ate a lot!!!! It was really fun and we hope to do it again. First Colby and Tom's dance picture. . . . then me, Colby and Trish. . . . the boys deciding where to gamble. . . . and Tom, Colby and Fear.

Visiting the Crosby's

Scott and Val had their wedding reception in October and a bunch of us made the drive to Cowley, Wyoming. It was so much fun to see where they live and spend a short hilarious trip with them. I am so happy to have Scott as a part of our family, he is so sweet and wonderful to Val, Layla and Gary.
Shannon and I drove together and had a interesting time driving through some of Wyoming's more charming towns and reading their funny signs.
Anyway. . . . even though I miss my sweet Val and kids, I am so excited for them!!!

Hoop It Up (September 24th, 2011)

Colby played in 'Hoop It Up' this year with some of his good friends. They actually did pretty good and had a lot of fun! I even got a chance to go out to the Maverick Center and watch for a while. During the tournament they had small contests like tornado, slam dunk and 3 point shoot out. Colby was going to entered the slam dunk contest but with out any competition they ended up turning it into a tornado contest. It started out with about 20 contestants and he ended up winning and getting the SLAM DUNK CHAMPION plaque. One of his proudest moments, he was so cute holding up his prize.

Dad's Day

Every year on what my family calls 'Dad's Day'(July 21st) which is the day my Dad passed away, we try as a family to do something fun in honor of my dad. He was a pretty awesome guy and was always the ring leader of fun in our family. This year we decided to go on the Park City zipline. Which I don't think dad ever had a chance to do but I know he would have loved it.
Also a few fun pictures of my sweet Dadders!!!!
